MOLAA hosted its annual gala, Cabaret Latino, on Saturday, June 8, 2013. It was a magical night! More than 300 guests gathered to honor Target for their legacy of giving to the arts. You can see how Target helps MOLAA by clicking on this link.
Chef John Rivera Sedlar prepared a delectable meal and we topped off the evening with the sights and sounds of Tropicana in Hollywood. There were many fun and engaging activities throughout the evening including a silent auction, live art auction and a Golden Ticket drawing won by Mary Alice Sedillo, who took home Descanso/Rest by Lucio Kansuet!
The proceeds from the gala will help us serve the community through our exhibitions, art education programs and cultural events. It will also help bring hundreds of children to the Museum and give them the opportunity to experience art through gallery tours and art workshops.
We would like to thank the following people and sponsors for making this year’s event the most successful yet!
The Gala Organizing Committee chaired by Sofia Riley of T.G.I.S
Mr. Leon Krauze of Univision Los Angeles who served as our Master of Ceremonies
Mr. Paul Margetson, the event auctioneer
A big Thank You to this year’s event sponsors:
We look forward to seeing all of you again at next year’s Gala which will take place on May 31, 2014!
