Join us for community screenings of the PBS documentary film My Garden of a Thousand Bees which follows a wildlife filmmaker during the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic lockdown as he starts to notice the intricate and complex lives of bees in his garden. This film screening is part of the #plantwildflowers initiative and attendees will take home a Southwest Mix seed packet to encourage pollinators in our own backyards. Stay after the film and learn how to build an articulated butterfly from paper with the Museum of Latin American Art (MOLAA) education team.
This is an In Person event at the Long Beach Public Library, Bay Shore Neighborhood branch.
This workshop is in partnership with the Long Beach Public Library.
