In each chapter, MOLAA Chief Curator Gabriela Urtiaga talks with the most remarkable artists from Latin America and Latinx in the US. Their conversation places the focus on a series or specific artwork which requires a close inspection and deliberate process of contemplation and exploration; delving into the ideas surrounding the creation of the works, their sources of research and inspiration, in an effort to immerse ourselves in the world of the artists.

In this chapter of MOLAA Zoom Project, where MOLAA's Chief Curator Gabriela Urtiaga will join multi-disciplinary artist Alexandre Arrechea for a conversation exploring Arrechea’s artistic production. Alexandre's work of large-scale installations and sculptures, drawings, and videos, work to investigate cultural resonances implicit in architecture, from design to social value, and how these impact its various readings. This approach to dissecting architectural anatomies and spaces explores the possibility of the multiple conflicts embedded in them as a result of the many decisions inherent in their structures and in their histories.
