ALEJANDRO VILLALBAZO
(Mexico, b. 1970)

Alejandro Villalbazo is an experimental printmaker, visual artist, and curator and is currently a researcher in the PhD program at UNAM as well as Director of Production and Graphic Research Workshop at La Pintadera (Est. 2003) and is a regular collaborator with the El Chahuixtle Graphic Experimentation Center. His work engages the urban environment and street art through both traditional processes as well as experimental media like video, sound, and installation. His work has been exhibited throughout Mexico, as well as in Colombia, the United States, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Argentina, Costa Rica, Italy, Spain, Japan, and Germany.
