Árbol de la manita, also called Monkey’s Hand Tree or Devil’s Hand Tree, has unique, bright-red flowers shaped like a small hand. These flowers, when dried, have been used for in teas and other preparations for centuries for the regulation of blood pressure and heart health. The large leaves can also be used for wrapping tamales.
