Robert Graham: Civic Monuments presents the monumental works of artist Robert Graham. From the Olympic Gateway in 1984 to the Great Bronze Doors of the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in 2002, Robert Graham completed seven major works across the United States during his lifetime. This exhibition illuminates how each of these civic monuments transformed from first proposal to final execution, presenting models, maquettes, and photographic images of the massive installations. Each monument has made a significant and lasting contribution to the cities where they are located.
