Julio César Peña Peralta (Cuba, b. 1969)

Julio César Peña Peralta was born in Cuba in 1969. He is a painter and printmaker, currently working at the Havana Experimental Workshop, as well as his personal atelier in Central Havana, Cuba. He began painting in 1984 and his work includes engravings, line cuttings, experimental monotypes, silkscreens, and recycled media. He has exhibited his work across Cuba as well as in the U.S., Spain, Venezuela, Japan, France, England, Portugal, China, Mexico, and Argentina.
