Lynne Okon Scholnick is a Jungian oriented psychotherapist who honors dreamwork. For this day-long workshop, participants are invited to bring a dream--recent or from the past--from which to create a dream-mask. Okon Scholnick will lead participants in making a mask by casting their own face and then personalizing it with images or objects related to the dream. Participants are encourage to bring photographs or found objects related to the symbology of their dream, as well as a sack lunch. All other materials will be provided.
Note: A lunch 30 minute break will be provided. Please bring a lunch as Café Viva is currently closed. Decorative materials will be provided during the workshop, but to ensure that their masks accurately reflect their dreams, participants are encouraged to bring additional materials from home related to their dream like photographs or magazine images, feathers, wood, small toys, etc. Due to the relevatory nature of dreams and dream analysis, this workshop is intended for adults.
