Drawing inspiration from Japan’s famous Kokeshi Dolls (こけし), the stunning six-foot tall sculptures of Chicana artist Yolanda Gonzalez are a fusion of Latina culture and Japanese aesthetics. Join us on this one-hour gallery talk as the artist herself shares her experiences in Japan and the influence of Japanese culture and artistry on her work.
