Edgardo Delgadillo

Dawning from the LA suburbs, Edgardo’s fascination with Comic Books and the medium has been captivating him since childhood. From reading the likes of Archie Publishing’s Sonic X, to the innovative views of El Muerto and Mauz, has propelled him to engage with the medium further. This passion then paved the road for him to enroll into college leading him to study and eventually obtain a BA in Creative Writing from UCR. During his time there, he curated numerous comics events with professionals like Javier Hernandez, Fanbase Press, Nathaniel Osollo and others with the goal of educating and engaging the general audience with the medium. In his academic journey, he too had the privilege to research for the back matter of Image Comic Book’s Bitter Root, under the guidance of Professor Jennings. As of today, he continues his comic book based pursuits as an LBCC student in their Library Technician program. Currently he is interning in the special collections Library at MOLAA as our 2026 Fall Cohort.
