Lucica Marc is Haitian and living in Florida where she migrated to receive medical treatment. Lucy is a burn survivor.  She suffered massive childhood injury when her house in Haiti was set on fire.  She’s been working with I Learn America since 2015 when she connected with the organization through the Seminole County Public Schools district. She’s turned her life experience and resilience into inspirational tools she uses during storytelling workshops in schools with I Learn America. She’s shared her experience at the National Association for Bilingual Education conference. She’s an avid TikToker and can be followed at @lucicamarc.
