I LEARN AMERICA x MOLAA Present (Storyshare)

Through youth-led storytelling workshops, I Learn America sparks "homegrown" conversations addressing questions of immigration, identity and education.

As a MOLAA partner, I Learn America has conducted hands-on workshops at the Museum in the past, teaching their curriculum and leading necessary discussions around these topics. In this time of social distancing, MOLAA has partnered with I Learn America to bring audiences a special edition of the organization’s newest digital initiative, StoryShare.

I Learn America has adapted its programming to virtually bring together migrant students living in different parts of the country under this initiative. Students and artists have come together through online storytelling, sharing and open mic events to connect and support each other during this time. They address issues that matter to them – In their own words/from their own perspectives.

Over the coming weeks, MOLAA will be highlighting each participant's story and conversations. Stay tuned and follow their journeys.
