About the Band: QUITAPENAS is a tropical Afro-Latin combo of first-generation sons born under the California sun. They borrow aesthetics from the radical 60s, 70s and 80s. Each song echoes a remix of history and invites one to engage in the liberating evenings of Angola, Peru, Colombia, Brazil, and beyond.

SSS @ MOLAA contributes to the Food & Beverage industries that the Long Beach, CA, communities value through educational and culturally relevant programming around spirits, food, and music. SSS aims to develop and establish outreach initiatives that foster collaborative opportunities with community partners and local talent in the field.
